As you know, my favorite (and pretty much only) thing that I photograph is kiddos. That certainly is not changing anytime soon, but I did step outside of my comfort zone last night for an engagement session. The bride to be is a close family/friend of mine, and I've known her since I was 12! So of course I jumped at the chance to shoot their engagement pictures, even though I really had no clue what I was going to do :) Being in the design field herself, she knew she wanted something unique and out-of-the-box. Just the kind of challenges I love! :)
We had a great time traipsing through cornfields and a pumpkin patch...and luckily we didn't get attacked by the giant turkey roaming the property! Oh, the joys of being a country girl!
